This event was all in aid of raising money for two very worthy causes, 'Kissing it Better' and 'Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope'. Both of these Hertfordshire based charities are very close to the hearts of our teachers and also to some of the members of our academy and I think it is fair to say that we were all blown away by the amount of thought that students put in to their 'moments'.
As always our classes did us so, so proud, unfortunately we cant possibly mention them all, but 'shout outs' go to the following:
In Royston lower primary the young ladies were blown away by Alex Coleridge who got up and sung One Directions, 'You dont know your beautiful'. In Royston Upper Primary, Ellie Wright and Emily Blakes had written two beautiful poems and we also were treated to music by Niamh Wilmott on the violin, Campbell Ludlow on guitar and Mackenzie Cramman on the piano. In Royston Youth Theatre Alex Thompson sang Bruno Mars' 'Grenade' and Alice Reynolds played a festive tune on the clarinet.
Thank you so much everyone that took part and all those who donated. As always our students astonish us and we hope that they feel a real sense of achievement having raised money for such wonderful causes. We will let you know very soon how much our Academy managed to raise and we look forward to seeing everyone this week for our final lessons of the term and our parent day presentations.
