Below are a few snaps from our 'Big Box of Bears' week where Lower Primary classes were asked to bring their favourite teddies to drama! Students then performed a group improvisation based in a teddy bear factory where the workers had not managed to finish and teddy bears had to take things into their own hands!
Above is Milton Upper Primary all set for their mime to music 'Bedlam at Bedtime'. Dressed in their onesies and joined by their teddies they couldn't wait to get started!

All the hard work has been done and for all students it's time to reap the rewards and enjoy the experience of performing on stage!
To ensure the days run as smoothly as possible could we ask that parents and carers please;
- Be aware of the time at which you are required to drop your child at the theatre for their technical and dress rehearsals. It is very important that you are prompt so that we can start on time. We have back to back shows and therefore time schedules are very important. Please telephone ahead if you are experiencing problems getting to the venue.
- Please bring your child already dressed in their costume. If we are providing all or part of your child's costume we will give it to them on arrival. After the show please make sure any borrowed items are returned back to us as they need to be washed and ready in time for the next group using them. If you are borrowing a costume please have your child in shorts and a vest that can be worn underneath.
- Please provide your child with a drink and snack which are in disposable containers. We had a lot of lunch boxes left last year and it proved difficult to trace their owners!
- Girls (if they wish) may wear a little make up, lipstick and blusher, and boys and girls should arrive with their hair brushed and tied back off of their faces.
Please be assured children will be supervised at all times by fully CRB checked adults. We will have games and films going on in the 'Green Room' to keep all performers entertained in between times.
One of the many reason we choose to sell tickets for the performances online is to reduce the time families spend waiting at the door and to help in our quest to be as 'green' as possible, as this way we do not have to provide paper tickets. Our front of house team will have a ticket sales list and all you will need to do is tell us your name.
And finally please applaud, laugh and be upstanding for all of your children's hard work! They have all done so well and as a team we are incredibly proud of them! Enjoy the show and thank you for your continued support!

Across 35 classes and 15 studios we now have 470 children, teenagers and adults enrolled into our programme!
We are still growing with a new Upper Primary launching in Harpenden from September and further expansion plans for classes in Hertfordshire in the new academic year. Rachel will be starting a new composite class on a Wednesday in Bishops Stortford. The class will run from 3.45pm-4.45pm at Thorngrove School.
We would like to thank all of our students and their parents for coming back week after week, telling their friends about us and bringing our drama classes to life! Your support means the world to us! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is Matty and Iona from Milton lower primary.
and they are both stars of the week for bringing in their beautifully thought out costumes!
Milton lower primary are performing 'The Wedding' in our annual shows and Matti is playing the wedding car driver and Iona is a bridesmaid.
Matti was so desperate to wear his outfit, that he made his mum take him home after school to get it before class! A great effort from them both, well done!
All our posts are written by our fantastic principals and teachers you can find out more about each of them on our team page.
